Delhi Tourism Will Develop Seven Heritage Circuits in Coming Four Years

The title must have created interest about the new heritage development in you. Yes, the Delhi Tourism is on its way to develop beautiful seven heritage circuits around the city in a time period of about four years and that also at an estimated cost of 225 crore Indian rupees. These mentioned seven heritage circuits will be well developed over Qutub Minar, the Central Vista, Mutiny Memorial, Tughlakabad, Shahjahanabad, Lodhi Road, and the Hauz Khas Village that will also comprise of the Luteyn’s Delhi. As per the Managing Director and the CEO of the Delhi Tourism & Transport Development Corporation (DTTDC)- G G Saxena, this development is definitely a major development in Indian History. 

These above mentioned circuit development projects are on the list to be taken up one after one in the coming four years. The main aim of this task  is to restore these seven monuments as per the requirement. This task will include the process of setting up the light, the sound shows, and the audio tour readiness. Moreover, it will also work on creating the last-mile connectivity of the monuments and so on. Saxena said that the Delhi tourism has identified its priorities. The preference is for the development of the Shahjahanabad Circuit as well as the Luteyn’s Delhi Circuit. Shahjahanabad Circuit development project will be given to the Shahjahanabad Redevelopment Corporation. 

CEO also informed the media that Delhi-the capital state has to receive the approvals from the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) for most of included places in the list. This requires time for sure. There was a discussion on the e-booking facility that has been recently launched by the Delhi Tourism on its official website. This site has been highly used by the people. The Delhi tourism is now looking out for a way to expand this e-booking platform in order to incorporate as well as facilitate the process of booking the hotels, airline tickets, and other things with ease. 

Saxena also said that this tourism corporation will also be floating a competitive bidding tender for choosing a compatible partner for driving the airline bookings via Delhi Tourism official website. Another good point is that the capital tourism is now projecting on One Asia Pass. This Delhi state is the Vice-Chairman of the Council for Promotion of Tourism in Asia. This board has a total of nine Asian cities in its list. With the ‘One Asia Pass,’ good discounts will be available to the travelers in hotels, airline tickets, shopping and so on.
